At Chainbalance, we are committed to providing our customers with the best product, user experience, and value possible. That's why our Smart Merchandise Management Solution, Smart Supply, is constantly evolving and growing. Thanks to our amazing team, we release four updated versions each year, with Version 2.6 being introduced in March. Let's take a look at the new features and updates that have been implemented.
New KPIs supporting sustainability
Sustainability is a hot topic in the fashion industry, and with our solution, we want to help make the industry more sustainable. Overproduction and the initial allocation of large quantities into the market, leading to overstock, are challenges that are often overlooked in day-to-day business. To help our customers address these obstacles, we have introduced two new features in Smart Supply.
Prevented Overstock
By providing a new KPI called ‘Prevented Overstock’, accessible on your homepage, you can check how many pieces of overstock were prevented by our innovative algorithms. It not only prevents overstock, poor inventory turns, or bad ROI per POS but further avoids unnecessary transportation and packaging – better for the business and the environment!
Demand Forecast
Further, the ‘Out-of-Season Insights’ option was improved and enables you to see the recommended demand categorized by size curve while comparing the forecasted production quantities to the actual sales and lost sales of last season.
Efficient order proposals for your retailers and stores
Another considerable step for our Smart Merchandise Management solution to optimize the classic wholesale is the ‘Smart Order Proposal’. Each brand will have the option to send automatically generated order proposals by mail to one or more stores, or retailers. The recipients can easily approve, adjust, or reject the order quantities determined by Smart Supply by clicking the link provided. Further, the retailers receive more in-depth insights into the product performance of each specific product regarding sales, turnover rate, and size curve.
In addition to the features mentioned above, Version 2.6 also includes:
- Groups and Store clusters for easier management
- New interface for Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
- Updated Store insights page
- Easier support section
Overall, the Version 2.6 of Smart Supply offers several new features and improvements to make your Smart Merchandise Management more convenient and efficient. The newest additions will help users streamline their Merchandise Management and make data-driven decisions to optimize sellouts and reduce lost sales while relieving their team of manual, static work processes.
