Chainbalance has developed substantially over the past years, and it's hard to believe we are already on Version 2.10! Our R&D team works eagerly to enhance our customers' experience each quarter, and we have some exciting new developments to share. So, what are these new key additions in the solution? Let’s dive into the details.
“Quick Allocation” – Turn minutes into seconds
Since Version 2.8, our solution has set a new standard for Smart Merchandise Management. With our ‘Recommendations’ feature - a favorite among our team 🤫 - you can optimize your assortment and save valuable time. We offer a comprehensive overview based on definable parameters, such as ‘Missing Best Seller,’ ‘Missing Sizes,’ or ‘Non-Seller,’ unlocking hidden growth potential.
In Version 2.10, we enhanced the ‘Missing Best Seller’ feature. Previously, you could select the desired SKUs and download a list to integrate into the replenishment list, ensuring swift replenishment and allocation. Now, with the new “Allocate” button, you can save even more time by immediately allocating the chosen best sellers to multiple stores at once.

“Replace option” – Never-Out-of-Stock without transition challenges
NOOS articles sometimes get replaced by slightly different versions, often with different EAN/GTINs, which can make smooth transitions a logistical nightmare. To ensure the new style is replenished after the old style's DC stock is sold out, we have developed the “Replace Option.” Simply choose the replacement option for the old style once, set a transition date, and the new style will be replenished from that transition period onwards.

Transparency through all data streams
Maintaining a clear overview of all your data streams can be challenging. While our solution significantly increases data transparency, keeping track of potential data issues can still be difficult. With the latest update, you can turn on email notifications to alert you when stores aren’t sending data regularly, with distinctions between different data sets.
Other improvements:
- Improved filters in the replenishment list, lost sales, overstock, and at the SKU level.
- New sorting options in recommendations.
