On 28. August 2026, the fashion and leather goods industry came together at ILM Offenbach, to ring in the fair and start conversations at our Chainbalance Chat & Dine: ILM Edition.
It was an evening built around what matters most: meaningful exchange, good food and the opportunity to connect beyond the exhibition floor.
ILM Offenbach: insights, trends and valuable conversations
ILM once again brought together decision-makers, retailers, brands and industry experts from across the leather goods, bags and accessories sector.
Throughout the fair, we had the pleasure of meeting both familiar and new faces and exchanging ideas about the challenges and opportunities currently shaping the industry.
The event program also offered plenty of inspiration with panel discussions around topics such as community management, trust and emerging trends.
What stood out throughout the day was how important collaboration continues to be. In a challenging market environment, exchanging perspectives and learning from one another is becoming even more valuable.
From the dinner table to the exhibition floor
Before a packed day at ILM it was time to slow things down: Our Chainbalance Chat & Dine: ILM Edition created a relaxed setting where brands and industry professionals could ring in the busy days in a relaxed environment.
No exhibition rush. No packed schedules. No sales pitch.
Just good food, refreshing drinks and genuine conversations with people facing many of the same opportunities and challenges.
That is exactly what Chainbalance Chat & Dine is about: creating a space where the industry can connect beyond day-to-day business and build relationships through open exchange.
Stronger together
One message became particularly clear throughout the day: the industry is changing and navigating that change requires collaboration.
Technology, new consumer expectations and economic pressure continue to reshape the way brands and retailers operate. At the same time the importance of trust, community and human connection remains as strong as ever.
Events like ILM give the industry the opportunity to discuss these developments together and evenings like Chat & Dine give those conversations more room to grow.
